Sep. 25, 2017: St Jude Deanery Kinnigoli organized Quiz Competition on 23rd September 2017 at St Mary's Central School Kinnigoli. Rev Fr Ronald Dsouza - director of ICYM Mangalore diocese, Ms Ivy Melisha Dsouza - Representative of St Jude Deanery Kinnigoli, Ms. Preema Pinto - President of St. Jude Deanery Kinnigoli, Mr Stephen Dsouza - president of Kinnigoli deanery, Ms Jenifer Saldanha - Secretary of St Jude Deanery Kinnigoli were present for the inaugural program.
Program began with a prayer service conducted by executive members. Miss Preema Pinto, President of St. Jude Deanery Kinnigoli welcomed the gathering. Fr Ronald addressed the gathering on what a quiz is in actual terms. He encouraged us to motivate each other to part take in such quizzes and improve our knowledge on various things. The quiz was conducted and the quiz master for the occasion was Mr. Anil Pais Maril.
These are the following units that participated Pakshikere, Kirem, Kinnigoli, Niddodi and Balkunje. The following were the prize winners of the quiz competition: 1st place was won by Kirem, 2nd place by Balkunje and the 3rd place by Niddodi. The program ended up by Fr. Ronald who thanked each and every one for efficiently taking part in the quiz and also congratulated the winners. As the English proverb says "Anything that begins well ends well" the program ended in a successful manner.
