Moodbidiri , March 18, 2018  Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM), St Mathews Deanery Moodabidri organized a unique program for the youths on March 17 & 18. As many as 50 youths experienced the life in St Anthony’s Charitable Institution, Jeppu with the destitutes.

During Ashram Experience program, youth offered some services like Hair cutting, Shaving, Nail cutting, helping in kitchen, and most importantly talked to the Ashram Inmates.

Youth performed and entertained the inmates with some comedy skits, songs and also spot games were conducted.

Fr Francis D’Souza, Administrator of the Ashram gave a brief introduction to the youths on the origin and activities of the Ashrams.

Special Prayer & Adoration was conducted by Fr Francis D’Souza, Br Arun & team for the youths & inmates.

On behalf of ICYM Moodabidri Deanery Rice, Vegetables & other items were given to the ashram.

Rev. Fr Peter Gonsalves, Asst. Director, St Anthony’s Charitable Institution thanked ICYM Moodbidri youth for the generous support.

Rexon Crasta, President ICYM Moodabidri Deanery thanked St Anthonys Charitable institutions for allowing the deanery youths to stay in ashram and also to all who helped in organsing this event & making it a successful one.

Rev. Fr Onil D’souza, Director St Anthony’s Charitable Institutions, Rev. Fr Jesudas D’costa, Director ICYM Moodabidri Deanery, Rev Fr Ronald Dsouza, Director ICYM M’lore Diocese, Elroy Saldanha, President ICYM Mlore Diocese, Joel Concessao, Secretary ICYM Mlore Diocese & other were present. Jaison Pereira & Jackson D’costa compered the program.
