Nov 23, 2017: ICYM Belthangady Deanery of the Diocese of Mangalore organized one day Charismatic Convention for ICYM and YCS youth at St. Anthony's Church, Ujire on 19-Nov-2017. Fr. Franklin D'Souza, Director Family Counseling Centre and DCCRS of Shimoga preached the retreat. Bro. William D'Souza led the Praise and Worship. Retreat began at 9:30 a.m. Deanery ICYM director Fr. Arun Lobo together with YCS Deanery Director Fr. Lancy and Deneary Council welcomed the retreat team and the participants.
Till 10:30 a.m. Fr Franklin D'Souza and Bro. William led the Praise and Worship. At 10:30 a.m. Fr. Franklin D'Souza took a session on "Youth keep your way pure through sacraments". He invited that success through Sacrament of reconciliation is permanent. During Holy Eucharist Fr Franklin explained importance of forgiveness and Eucharist.
After the lunch break at 2 p.m. team led into praises. At 2:30 p.m. Eucharistic Adoration was led by Fr Franklin. He spoke about the blessings from our parents. Then he led participants in to seek pardon and forgiveness from parents and with one another. He led the healing as well as anointing session. Deanery Youth Director Fr. Arun Lobo thanked the team for inspiring retreat and all the youth of Belthangady Deanery for active participation.
