Sep 8 : Indian Catholic Youth Movement Mangalore diocese celebrated “Teachers’ Day “ under the banner of 'Namaste Teacher' on 6th September 2019 in various units.
The celebration began with the Thanksgiving mass to all the teachers who sacrificed their life for the betterment of the children and also Special prayers were conducted for them.
Some entertainment and activities like quiz compitation , dance, singing were conducted by ICYM members for all the teachers . Hand made crafts, posters were presented to teachers and wished them. Mementos were given as token of love and respect and all the teachers were honoured florally. Senior teachers were felicitated for their great service.
