Aug 13 : Karnataka Regional Youth Commission is organizing Yuvajanotsava – the Regional Youth Convention at Christ College, Bangalore from October 21st- 25th, 2022.

As a part of this convention, the journey of the Cross has begun in Mangalore Diocese. On 7th of August 2022, KRYC Cross was handed over to Belthangady Deanery during their Deanery Youth meet at Ujire parish.

Rev Fr Ashwin Lohith Cardoza - ICYM Director, Diocese of Mangalore, Mr Anil John Sequeira – President ICYM, Diocese of Mangalore, Ms Delitia Asumptha Pereira – Lady Vice President, Mr Terrence Lavy Crasta - Vice President, ICYM Karnataka Region, Ms Philomena Fernandes - PRO, Mr Sushanth Fernandes – Nominated member, Rev Fr Praveen D’Souza - Director, ICYM Belthangady Deanery, Mr Prakash Dsouza - President, ICYM Belthangady Deanery, Ms Stepy Moras - Secretary, ICYM Belthangady Deanery and ICYM Belthangady Deanery Council Office Bearers were present during the hand over.

Regional Convention Cross will journey throughout the diocese visiting 124 parishes till 20 October, 2022. Details of Holy Cross journey are as follows:

• August 19th - St. John Paul II Deanery
• August 25th - Bantwal Deanery
• August 31st - Moodbidri Deanery
• September 07th - Pezar Deanery
• September 13th - Kinnigoli Deanery
• September 18th - Surathkal Deanery
• September 23rd - City Deanery
• September 29th - Episcopal City Deanery
• October 05th - Mangalore South Deanery
• October 12th - Kasargod Deanery
