On 10th December 2022, ICYM Mangalore Diocese launched the DYC 2023 logo at St Joseph Vaz Home Jeppu. The Diocesan Youth Conference - DYC 2023 is scheduled to be held in the month of February 2023 from 17th-19th at Kirem in collaboration with St Jude Mangalore North Deanery and Kirem ICYM unit. The theme for the conference is "Faith Filled Families builds a Strong Community".

The logo was launched by retired senior priests Rev Fr Dr Valerian D’Souza and Rev Fr William Gonsalves who were the former diocesan youth Directors of ICYM. Rev Fr Valerian addressed the gathering saying that youth have the ability to think creatively through which we can achieve great success.

Rev Fr Ashwin Cardoza honoured both the priests during the programme for rendering their service as Diocese youth Directors in the year 1970-1973.

DEXCO, Central Council members, St Jude Mangalore North Deanery and Kirem youth were present during the logo launch. The president of ICYM Mangalore, Anil John Sequiera, welcomed the gathering, the Secretary Nishal Preemal D’Souza delivered the vote of thanks and Winston Sequeira compered the programme.

Rev Fr William Gonsalves blessed the youth and concluded the programme with a prayer.
