Dec 29 , 2022 : Christmas is a time to give and forgive. It is the festival commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ. The jingling of bells and the impeccably adorable decorations at every corner indicates the onset of Christmas. Santa Claus, the name that is synonymous to happiness and joy, adds the special element of innocence to our lives.

Christmas brings with itself the special message of hope, happiness, joy, and merriment! Santa Claus tells us, never to let go of that magical element of innocence from your life; keep the child within you always alive and make sure that you add a little of that element in everything you are doing.

Youth of the Indian Catholic Youth Movement Mangalore Diocese celebrated Christmas with such great enthusiasm. No Christmas is complete without carols. Our youth, equipped with guitars, drums and singers, walked into people’s homes singing carols with messages of hope, laughter and joy.

Youth of various units across the diocese engaged themselves in making Christmas cribs, stars and all kinds of preparations in churches. They also exchanged gifts playing the game of Secret Santa. Different kinds of cultural programmes were also organised in the units. Directors and Animators of the units guided and assisted the youth to bring out these programmes beautifully.
