Mangalore:The two prominent catholic organizations of Mangalore , ICYM Central Council of Mangalore  Diocese and International Federation of  Karnataka Christian Association(IFKCA), Mangalore unit  submitted a memorandum to Police commissioner of Mangalore urging stern action against the person who  morphed to depict AICC president Sonia Gandhi as Mother Mary and AAP chief ArvindKejriwal as Infant Jesus.

 
On Wednesday March 19, members of ICYM central council including ICYM Director Fr Ronald D’Souza, President SheldonCrasta, Auditor Rayan Rodrigues, south deanery president Derryl D’Souza  and ex-council member Sandeep Monteiro  along with IFKCA president Roy Castelino  and other members handed over a memorandum to police commissioner R Hitendra, urging him to take strict action against the person who edited and uploaded the picture.

Hours after the picture went viral on Facebook on Monday March 17, the Congress Udupi district president called the police and informed them of the matter over the phone. By evening of Monday, the picture was deleted from the account of the person who had uploaded it. However, no written complaint was filed.
