Jan 3 : On the occasion of Christmas, ICYM unit members of Sacred Heart Church Madanthyar performed Liturgy on 24th of December 2022 at Christmas Evening mass. After the mass, ICYM youths distributed Christmas cake and coffee to all the parishioners.

As part of Christmas preparations, ICYM Madanthyar unit organized following events:

1. The youths organized carol singing across 11 wards of the parish from 5th December 2022 to 18th December 2022. Youths went to every house in the parish to spread the joy of the season along with carols singing. 15 to 28 youths were present everyday.

2. Youths also organized a homemade Kuswar Sale program and conducted a lucky draw in which Rohan Dsouza from Holy Cross ward was awarded with a box of Kuswar.

3. Crib and Star competition was also held for the parishioners. Prizes were distributed on the 31st night after the New Year Mass.

1st Prize : Joshua Mendonca and Deril Kiran
2nd Prize : Rachel Benora
3rd Prize : Sushal Menezes
Star Competition:
1st Prize : Melroy and Melric Miranda

4. Also a beautiful crib was built by the youths at the church premises and secured 3rd place in the Belthangady Deanery Level Crib Competition.

5. ICYM Madanthyar Unit Celebrated "Christmas Souharda Sammilana - 2022" on 25th December 2022. The procession began towards church at 5pm along with Nasik Chende and Santa Claus. Youths and parishioners danced on the beats of Chende. Youths also gave cultural programs to entertain the parishioners.
