Thokur ICYM members organized Vanmavosava on 19 th July 2015 in our church. The main aim of this programme was to make greenery our environment and encourage our people to protect our environment by planting plants and saplings in our surrounding. Even we also want our church to look beautiful with so many plants. The Vanmavosava programme started soon after the eucharistic mass. All parishioners gathered near to our Mother Mary grotto. There was small formal function. The main guests were Vice President of the church Mr.Assis and relgious sisters.
Mr. Viran Veigas did the M.C for the programme. Ms.Elvita welcomed the guest and all the parishioners. There was prayer and blessing of the sapling. Soon after the blessing the mango sapling was planted and kicked off the programme with many plants to plant in the coming days.
There were 20 ICYM memberes were present and more than 100 parishioners were too. Mr. Orson veigas gave vote of thanks for all the people gathered to witness this programme.
