Indian Catholic Youth Movement of Kinnigoli Deanery organized a cross country race and an awareness walk on 16th March as a part of their blood donation campaign at kinnigoli.

The event was blessed by very Rev Fr. Alfred Pinto, Vicar Forane of Kinnigoli Deanery. The President of ICYM Kinnigoli Deanery Ms. Melreeda Rodrigues handed over the Logo Flag to the presidents of different organization who helped ICYM in the Event.

The flag off ceremony was performed by Mr. BhuvanabhiramaUdupa, Mrs. LavinaD’souzaBalkunje( Ex President of ICYM mangalore Diocese) to inaugurate the event.
Students from different colleges of Mangalore and youth of different parishes of Mangalore Diocese participated in the cross country race. Master of Ceremony ManojFernandes.

The blood donation walk named “Walk for Life” was inaugurated by Rev Fr. Ronald D’souza, Director ICYM Mangalore Diocese The Parishners of Kinnigoli and students of Pompei college Aikala marched from kinnigoli Church to Kinnigoli bus stand  The blood donation camp will be conducted on Sunday 6th April from morning 10 am With the help of Yenepoya Hospital.
