“Dance is the hidden language of soul”, This statement was highlighted by the students of 16 schools in the vicinity of Kinnigoli with their mind-blowing dance performances in the” Dance Fest 2013”organised by Indian Catholic Youth Movement Kinnigoli Deanery in the auditorium of Kinnigoli parish on the occasion of its Score Jubilee Celebrations .

The programme was started with a hymn by ICYM member’s .Then the dancing extravaganza unfolded in a grand fashion with more than two hundred young talents showcasing their scintillating dancing skills. They performed in different dancing forms such as folk, patriotic, western dance in different languages in front of a huge crowd. They were judged by three eminent personalities such as, Mr Pramod Alva,(chief of Ocean Kids dance group, Mangalore),Mr Pawan B.N (Choreographer of Wanted Boys ,Puttur),Ms Paneeta Pinto (renowned dancer) .

This was followed by the Valedictory Function Presided by Very Rev Fr AlfredPinto, Vicar Var of Kinnigoli Deanery who delivered his inspirational message. Ms Melreeda Rodrigues welcomed the gathering.Rev Fr Vinod Lobo ,Director of ICYM Kinngoli Deanery,Rev Fr Maxim Pinto ,Assistant Director of ICYM Kinngoli Deanery,Mr Lionel Pinto, The vice president of Kinnigoli Parish,Mr Valerian Sequeira , The secretary of Kinnigoli Parish, Ms Melody Rodrigues ,the cultural secretary , Mr Loyd Pinto,President OF ICYM Kinngoli Unit Were present on the dais.The winners were awarded with trophies and certificates.

Mr Manoj Fernandes, the Secretary of ICYM Kinnigoli Deanery proposed vote of thanks.Vinona Cardoza and Joyline Dsouza compered the event .Thus the “Dance Fest 2013” provided a great platform to various Children to exhibit their wonderful talents
