Nov 16 : On November 12, 2023, ICYM Puttur, Commission for Bible and Catechetics of Puttur Parish with the assistance of YCS Puttur , Commission for Family, Commission for Liturgy, Commission for Education, Commission for proclamation and evangelization, Commission for Vocation and formation, Women's Association organized Children’s Day and Teacher’s Day celebration at Mai De Deus Church, Puttur.
Celebration mass was at 8.15 am. Rev. Fr. Arun Wilson Lobo was the main celebrant of the mass. Parish Priest Rev Fr. Lawrence Mascarenhas, Assistant Parish Priest Fr. Lohith Ajay Mascarenhas joined as co-celebrants of the holy mass.

After the Holy Eucharistic celebration program was organised at the church hall for the Teachers and Children . The morning started with a delicious breakfast, setting the stage for an exciting day ahead. YCS members sang a prayer song. Esteemed guests delivered inspiring speeches on the dais, leaving everyone motivated.
After the formal program, children enjoyed engaging sessions, and teachers had a blast with fun games. The highlight of the day was the group games for the children, filled with laughter and friendly competition. To wrap it up, prizes were awarded to both teachers and children, acknowledging their incredible efforts.
The event concluded with a scrumptious lunch, bringing everyone together in celebration. It was truly a memorable day, showcasing the importance of education and the unity.
