Aug 31, 2016: ICYM Mogarnad Deanery in association with Peruvai ICYM unit organised “GADHYANTHLE GAMMATH 2016” for the parishioners of various parishes of the deanery at Mukdapu (Peruvai) on 21 August 2016.
Fr. Henry Dsouza, Director of ICYM Mogarnad Deanery presided over the function. Mr. Ralph, Peruvai Panchayath President was the chief guest and Mr. Selwin Dsouza, Vice President of Alike Grama Panchayath and Mr. Anil Lobo Fermai, President of Catholic Sabha, Mangalore Pradesh were the guests of honour for the inaugural function.
Various games like Dodge Ball, Kabbadi, Tug of war, Pyramid formation were conducted. For the concluding programme Fr. Ronald Dsouza, Director of ICYM Mangalore Diocese and Central Executive members, Fr. Vinod Lobo, Parish Priest of Peruvai Parish were present. The prizes were distributed to the winners.
ICYM Deanery President Mr. Sandesh Ferrao welcomed the gathering and Secretary Mr. Lenvy Pereira proposed the vote of thanks. Mr. Brayan Lobo compered the inaugural programme and Mr. Sanod Lobo compered the concluding programme.
Around 150 people participated in this event and more than 200 people both Catholics and non Catholics witnessed the program.
Anil Fermai - Parish Council Mangalore, Peruvai Parish Priest Fr. Vinodh Lobo, Victor D’Souza - Peruvai Parish Council President and Secretary - Praveen Kutinna, Ashwin Sequeira - Treasurer Central I.C.Y.M. Deanery President - Sandesh Ferrao and Secretary Lenvy Pereira were present.
