June 3 : The election for the ICYM Executive Committee 2024-25 , was held on 2nd June 2024 at 10.30 A.M at Mahima Hall. V.Rev. Fr. Austin Peter Peres the Vicar Forane of Surathkal Vicariate presided over the election process.
The general body meeting commenced by prayer led by Daina D'Souza and Joyvin D'Souza. ICYM President Joyvin D'Souza welcomed everyone gathered in the meeting.
ICYM Secretary Maria Dsilva presented the annual report 2023-24 and it was duly approved. ICYM treasurer Ajith D'Souza presented the financial report of 2023-24; after a few corrections , it was approved.
V.Rev. Fr. Austin Peter Peres dictated all the rules and regulations of the elections as per the new handbook and conducted the election of ICYM Surathkal unit for the year 2024-25.

After declaring the results of the elections, the ceremony of handing over of the responsibilities was held in the presence of the Parish Priest. Fr Richard D Souza Assistant Director, Sandeep D Souza Convener Youth Commission of PPC and Ms Teena Rebello ICYM Animator were present on the occasion. There were 34 members present for the general body meeting.
