With an intention of gathering the youth together, ICYM unit of Infant Jesus Church, Bantwal along with youth welfare committee organized a one day program ‘Yuva Milan’ on 28 of June 2015 for all the youth of the parish aged between 16-28 years. Around 220 youths participated in this event.
The formal function began with a prayer. ICYM Animator Mr. Sunil Lewis welcomed the gathering. Rev. Fr. Maxim Noronha inaugurated the program.
Gracing the dais also were Fr. Rohit Dcosta, the chief guest of the program, Rev. Fr Maxim Noronha, Parish Priest, Mr. Sunil Lewis Animator of ICYM Unit, Mr. Jason Monteiro, member of Youth Welfare Committee, Mr. Francis Saldanha, Vice President of Parish Pastoral Committee; Mrs. Priya Carlo, Secretary of Parish Pastoral Committee Mr. Victor Menezes, President of Catholic Sabha and Mr. Flewin Deepak Pinto, ICYM President. Wilma D'Souza compered the inaugural program
Fr Rohit D’costa and Mr.Stephen Quadras were the resource persons.
The afternoon session began after the lunch. Robin, Jonita and Ronald conducted various group games.
Fr. Johnson Sequeira conducted the evaluation of the event. Rev. Fr. Maxim Noronha, Mr. Francis Saldanha, Mr. Sunil Lewis were present for the concluding ceremony.
Santhosh D’Souza compered the program while Flewin pinto conveyed the vote of thanks.
