September 2015. There were 42 participants in the junior section and 6 participants in the senior section.
ICYM animator Mr. Sunil Lewis welcomed the gathering. Mr.Melwin Rodrigues read out the rules of the competition and thanked Bantwal ICYM unit for their support especially Ms Wilma D'Souza, Mr. Richard Pascal D'Souza and vice President of Parish Pastoral Committee Mr Francis Saldanha.
Ms Avril Rodrigues, Mr. Andrew L.Dcunha and Mr. William Pais were the esteemed judges of the competition.
Well Known poets Valli Quadras and Geo Dsilva Agrar were also present at the venue.
9 participants from the junior section and 2 participants from the senior section were selected for the finals which are scheduled in the month of January.
ICYM St. John Paul II Deanery, Mogarnad had organized “Gadyanthle Gammath” program in associated with Saletthur Parish on Sep 13 2015.
Inaugural ceremony started at 10am Rev|Fr. Vincent Machado Parish Priest of Saletthur and Saletthur Parish council vice president ,secretary ,ICYM Salettaur unit president and secretary and Deanery president Ashwin And secretory Bryan altogether inaugurated the program in an unique and traditional way, Central Council Regional Rep Viyon & sports secretary of deanery were also accompanied them.
Many Games were conducted to increase the unity amongst deanery youth. During the program many parishes and localities visited the venue and doubled the joy of celebrating the unity.
ICYM Central council Director Fr. Ronald Along with president Alwyn Secretary Jackson ,Vice President Vishwas Lobo ,Pro Jorl Joy D'souza ,Joint Secretary Roshel Mascarenhas and IPP Melreeda Rodrigues visited the venue and encouraged the all youth
Valedictory was presided over by Most Rev Fr. Mathaias Pereira and Mogarnad Church Asst Priest Fr. Nelson Pais were also present for the ceremony.
Last but not the least prizes were distributed to the winners and program was concluded by singing ICYM theme song.
