Aug 31 : 'MONSOON SPLASH' - 2022, an Inter-ward water games competition was conducted on August 28th 2022 in Lourdes Central School grounds from 1:30 PM to 6:00 PM by ICYM Bejai along with YCS. The MC for the event was Miss Arel D'Souza - Treasurer of ICYM Bejai.

The main guests for this event were Rev. Dr. JB Saldanha, the Parish Priest of St. Francis Xavier Church Bejai, Rev. Fr. Suraj Lobo, Assistant Parish Priest, Fr. Robert D'Souza, Principal of Lourdes Central School Bejai, Fr. Alwyn D'Souza, Assistant Director of St. Joseph Engineering College, Vamanjoor. Deacon Jaison Pais, Br. Avith Pais, Br. Kanikyaswami, Mr. Ashok Pinto - Parish Pastoral Council Vice President, Mrs. Preethi Gomes - Parish Pastoral Council Secretary, ICYM animator Mr Rohan Sequeira, judges for the day Miss Sharon, Miss Vishma and Miss Teena, ICYM Deanery President Miss Sonali Rodrigues, ICYM Bejai President Miss Carol Santhumayor, ICYM Secretary Miss Alisha Lincy Rego and ICYM Sports Secretary Miss Vanessa Lobo were present on the dais.

Fr. Alwyn D'Souza conducted this event. Miss Teena Pashao, Miss Blairil Vishma D'Cunha, Miss Sharon Pinto were the judges of the event. The event started with a prayer song by ICYM members. Welcome speech was given by Miss Carol Santhumayor. The event was inaugurated in a significant way by the dignitaries by aiming the water balloons into the tub. 

Fr. JB Saldanha firstly congratulated the ICYM team for organizing this event in a great way, he also gave a short speech to the participants and the audience present there. Fr. Alwyn D'Souza gave clear instructions on how the games will go on.

13 teams participated in this event. 18 water games were conducted. The ward members performed extremely well and tried to make their ward win. The team of 'Allshi Rede' was present to promote their new konkani movie. The event went on smoothly with the cooperation of all the participants.

The valedictory program started with Fr. Alwyn D'Souza giving his message for the evening. The prize distribution ceremony was conducted by ICYM Secretary Miss Alisha Lincy Rego. ICYM Sports Secretary Miss Vanessa Lobo proposed the Vote of Thanks. With this the event came to an end with the Baila and Rain dance.
