March 25 : On the occasion of Lenten season, Indian Catholic Youth Movement Bejai Unit along with Commission of Liturgy and Senior Citizens Association, Bejai organized Taize prayer at St Francis Xavier Church Hall, Bejai on Saturday, 23rd March 2024, at 6:00 PM.
The prayer service, led by Rev Dr J B Saldanha - Parish Priest Bejai, Rev Fr Suraj Lobo - Assistant Parish Priest Bejai, Rev Fr Robert D'Souza - Principal Lourdes Central School Bejai, Rev Fr Vincent Sequeira, Rev Fr Leston Lobo and was accompanied by the renowned Blue Angels Choir. Through a meditative format encompassing repetitive chants, simple melodies, scripture readings, and moments of silence, participants were enveloped in a contemplative atmosphere conducive to prayer and introspection.

The session offered a unique spiritual encounter, uniting participants in a shared journey of connection with the divine. Through the universal language of music and prayer, barriers dissolved, fostering a deep sense of communion among diverse participants.
The church hall adorned with glowing lamps, created a sacred atmosphere for worship. It helped people feel close to Jesus. This serene ambiance of the church hall provided a sanctuary for those seeking solace and renewal amid the hustle of daily life. The parishioners engaged wholeheartedly, embracing God’s blessings during this Lenten period.
A total of 350 people including priests, religious sisters, children, youth and parishioners were present and benefited from the spiritual program.
