Oct 9, 2016: I.C.Y.M Milagres unit organised ‘Youth Fiesta- 2016’ a get together of all the youth of Milagres Parish on October 9th at the Milagres Parish Hall. Around 35 youth were present for this programme.
The event was inaugurated by Fr. Anil Lobo Asst. Parish Priest of Milagres with Mr. Joel Concessao, PRO of ICYM Mangalore Diocese.
Later Mr. Aeren Lobo conducted the ice breaking session which was succeeded by an interesting talk on ‘Amoris Laetitia’, an Apostolic Exhortation of Pope Francis by Fr Anil D’souza, Director of Family Life Centre. In his talk he stressed the importance of family life and the responsibility of youth in carrying out the duties faithfully.
Mr. Alwyn D’souza Agrar, former, president of ICYM Central Council shared his experience in the ICYM Movement. He also shared his unique experiences of WYD held at Poland. The program was concluded by delicious lunch.
