Sep 11 : On 15th August 2021, Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) Thannirbavi Unit celebrated the 75th Independence Day  in the Church premises  after the mass. Brayan Dsa, President of  ICYM unit invited the guests to the dais and welcomed the gathering. Rev. Fr Lawrence Dsouza - Parish Priest along with  Merel Coelho - Animator of ICYM unit , Avil Coelho - Vice President &  Ramitha Cuthina - Secretary of Parish Council were the dignitaries of the programme.The flag hoisting ceremony began at 8:30am. The flag was hoisted by the Chief Guest Fr. Lawrence Dsouza and a message was conveyed by him to the gathering.

ICYM Thannirbavi Unit was a part of  ECD Green drive organised by Episcopal City Deanery as part of Vanamahotsava on the same day. Various kinds of fruit saplings in the church garden were planted by Fr Lawrence Dsouza , Parish Council and ICYM members. Mishal lobo , Secretary of ICYM unit proposed the vote of thanks.
