Aug 20 : ICYM YCS Urwa unit organized Youth Day on Sunday, 18th August 2019 for the youths of Urwa parish.. The day began with a Holy Eucharistic celebration offered by Rev. Fr Stany Pereira - Parish priest and concelebrated by Rev. Fr Jason Lobo – Assistant parish priest, Immaculate Conception Church, Urwa.

After the mass, all the youths gathered in the church hall and the youth day was inaugurated by unveiling the youth day flex banner. Gavin Lobo – President, ICYM Urwa unit welcomed all the youths and the gathering. Melanie Cutinha – Secretary, ICYM Urwa unit read out the report. Rev. Fr Stany Pereira in his presidential speech encouraged the youth to stay in unity and strengthen the community. Francis Saldanha - Vice president, Lucy Dsouza – Secretary, Urwa parish pastoral council, Delitia Asumptha Pereira – President, ICYM Episcopal City Deanery were the guests present for the programme.

Ronak Dsa - YCS Yuvatare Representative, Urwa unit verbalized the sentiments of gratitude. Anjali Maria Baptist compered the programme. Various group and individual activities were conducted for the youth by ICYM members. 85 Youths were gathered for the programme and the youth day concluded with a sumptuous delicious lunch.
