ICYM Valencia Unit organized YOUTH CAFÉ- 2K16 on 25th September 2016.
The program commenced with a prayer song led by Nishma and group.
The event was inaugurated by lighting the lamp. Parish Priest Rev. Fr. James D’Souza presided over the function and in his address encouraged the Youth to exhibit their talents and make use of the opportunities given to them.
The chief guest of the function Rev. Fr. Ronald D’Souza, Director of ICYM Mangalore Diocese encouraged the youth with his motivating words. Mr. Arun Raj Rodrigues, Vice President of Pastoral Council wished the youth all success while sharing his thoughts.
Resource person for the event Mr. Joel Concessao who is the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of ICYM Mangalore Diocese was present on the dais along with Assistant Parish Priest Fr. Naveen Pinto, Resident Priest Fr. Arun Lobo and Secretary of Parish Council Mr. Leslie D’Souza.
A funfilled program with games, group discussion, ice breaking session was conducted by Mr. Joel Concessao, PRO along with Ms. Ancita D’Souza, General Secretary of ICYM Mangalore Diocese.
ICYM Valencia unit president Mr. Gordon D’Almeida welcomed the gathering. Secretary Ms. Jovita Rebello proposed the vote of thanks and Mr. Ashtone Pinto compered the program.
The program concluded with Dj Nikhil making the crowd dance with some enthralling music. Around 80 youth of the parish actively participated in the event.
