ICYM Valencia organized ‘YOUTH DAY - 2016’ for all the youth of the parish on Sunday 27th November 2016.
Solemn Mass was celebrated at 4pm where all the youth gathered for the meaning full Eucharistic Celebration.
After the Eucharistic Celebration the youth gathered in the Golden Jubilee Hall. Debate on topics like Live-In relationship, Effects of media, Faith, Inter Caste marriage was conducted by Rev. Fr. Richard D'Souza Director of Canara communication Centre, Diocese of Mangalore. Mr. Arun Raj Rodrigues conducted various games.
The main attraction of the day was camp fire which was lit by the Parish Priest Rev. Fr. James D'Souza. Asst Parish Priest Fr. Naveen Pinto, Resident priest Fr. Arun Lobo, Parish Council Vice President Mr. Arun Raj Rodrigues, Secretary Mr. Leslie D'Souza and ICYM President Mr. Gordon D'Almeida were present on the occasion.
Enthusiastic youth danced to the music played by Dj Nikhil. The program ended with scrumptious dinner.
Around 100 youth were present and actively participated in the program.
