April 5 : The Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) Agrar unit in collaboration with YCS Agrar unit and Yuva Ayog organized Youth Night on March 31st 2024 at The Most Holy Savior Church ground Agrar.

The event commenced with stage program graced by the presence of Rev. Dr. Peter Dsouza, parish priest of Agrar church, Fr Vijay Monteiro guest of honor, Mr. Rajesh Rodrigues, Mr. Arun Dsouza vice president, Odrine Dsouza secretary, Mr. Ignatious Dsouza coordinator, Sr Ida Dsouza, Fr Arwin Pais asst parish priest, Fr Roshan Director of YCS Mangalore, Mithesh Dsouza president of ICYM Mangalore, Ranil Dsouza president of YCS Mangalore, Nihan Sequeira president of ICYM Bantwal deanery, Riyana president of YCS Bantwal deanery, Philip Frank animator of ICYM Agrar, Shanthi Rodrigues and Rolson Dsouza animators of YCS Agrar along with president and secretary of ICYM and YCS were present on the dais for the formal function.

The master of ceremony, Sweedle Rodrigues skillfully conducted the formal function. The program began with a prayer song by members of ICYM and YCS. Jovin Carlo, president of ICYM Agrar delivered a warm welcome speech, extending greetings to all the guests and the gathering. Nicole Moras secretary of ICYM and Reeshal secretary of YCS read out the report.

Rev.Fr. Roshan director of YCS Mangalore and Mithesh Dsouza shared their inspiring words with the gathering.

The ICYM and YCS unit Agrar took the opportunity to felicitate the guest, Rev.Fr. Vijay Monteiro, Mr. Rajesh Rodrigues ex animator of ICYM Agrar, Rev.Fr Arvin Pais asst parish priest of Agrar and Maxon Sequeira for their achievements. Rev.Fr. Vijay Monteiro guest of honor addressed the gathering by his inspiring words.

As a token of love and gratitude mementos were given to the dignitaries on the dais. ICYM members honored the 6 gurkars of APL. Maxon Sequeira expressed gratitude and delivered the vote of thanks.

The cultural program began with flash mob by ICYM and YCS members along with the orchestra by Band Rhythm mates , and with dances by ICYM and YCS members. Prize distribution and overall championship of APL was skillfully conducted by Delton Lobo. The event successfully ended with baila.
