ICYM Bambil Unit organised Yuvasamavesh - 2019, a youth gathering programme for the youth of Bambil parish on Sunday, 21st July 2019 at St. John Marie Vianney Church Hall, Bambil. The programme began with a Holy Eucharistic Celebration celebrated by Rev. Fr Robert Dsouza – Principal, Lourdes Central School, Bejai con-celebrated by Rev. Fr Peter Gonsalves – Parish priest, St John Marie Vianney Church, Bambil.

The programme commenced with a prayer song. Santhosh Veigas - President, ICYM Bambil Unit welcomed the guests and the gathering. The inaugural programme was presided over by Rev. Fr Peter Gonsalves along with Rev. Fr Robert Dsouza – Chief Guest and Resource person of the day, Mrs. Flavy Dsouza – Vice President, Mr. Joachim Dsouza – Secretary, Bambil parish pastoral council, Br. Ronald Furtado, Ward Gurkars, President and Secretary - ICYM and YCS Bambil Unit were the dignitaries for the programme.

The programme was inaugurated by lighting the lamp. Mrs. Flavy Dsouza addressed the gathering and congratulated the youths for their selfless service in the church and stressed the need of being united in order to keep youths energetic. Rev. Fr Peter Gonsalves addressed the gathering and inspired the youths with his encouraging words and stressed that the youths should accept each other with love, respect and care. Roshni Pinto – Secretary, ICYM Bambil proposed the vote of thanks and Anna Pinto compered the programme.

Jaison Leroy Pereira, Shirthady - Immediate Past Diocesan Youth President and the members of ICYM Central Council Mangalore Diocese and the members of ICYM Bantwal Deanery visited the programme. Jaison Shirthady addressed the gathering and motivated the youths. Rev Fr Robert Dsouza being the resource person of the day, motivated the youths on the topic 'Role of youth in the society. The session was very effective with group dynamic activities and games conducted by Br. Robert Furtado and the members of ICYM Central Council, Mangalore Diocese. A total of 43 youths participated in the event. Rev. Fr Peter Gonsalves concluded the programme with a prefect end by conducting Bible Quiz which has added flavour to the programme.
