Our eyes show us our world. With just one glance, we instantly register color, distance, size, even texture. We can tell how someone feels just by looking at them. And we move effortlessly through our day because of these amazingly complex organs. Most people probably would agree that sight is the sense they'd value more than the rest. Kids (and adults, too!) often take their eyes for granted, and only realize their importance after they start to experience eye problems.
Hence to create awareness and educate students about the importance of a good vision, Lions Club B.C.Road, in collaboration with ICYM Bantwal organized an eye checkup camp at the Infant Jesus English Medium School on 13 November 2015.
