Sep 9 : ICYM Nirkan Unit organized Altar decoration competition ‘Altar Sobai–2022’ on the occasion of the feast of nativity of Mother Mary. The participants were asked to send the photos by following all the rules and regulations provided by the unit before 10 pm on 6th September 2022 through Online mode. A good response was received from parishioners for the competition. There were a total of 21 participants for this competition. Sr. Celine Vas Superior, Holy Family Bethany Convent Nirkan and Mr. Joyson Gracian Pais from Madanthyar Parish were judges of this competition.

The First place was bagged by Mrs. Cynthia Rodrigues of St. Antony Ward & Second place was bagged by Mrs. Florine Fernandes of St. Thomas Ward respectively. Prizes were distributed to the winners on the day of the Feast on Sep 8,2022 after the mass.
