ICYM Madanthyar unit secured the overall championship at the Belthangady Deanery level on Sunday,16th June 2019 at the award ceremony " PURASKAR - 2K19 " organised by ICYM Belthangady Deanery in St. Sebastian Church Campus, Gardady. The overall championship will be awarded every year based on the activities of ICYM units in different parishes of the deanery. ICYM Madanthyar unit is known for its service, dedication, performance and has hosted more than 30 programs throughout the year.

ICYM Madanthyar Unit was capably led by Rev. Fr Basil Vas - Director, Rev. Fr Alwyn Dsouza - Assistant Director, Ronson Veigas - President, Lavita Fernandes - Secretary and the dedicated core committee members along with the youth has clinched the championship with the support, cooperation from the parishioners and the youth were praiseworthy.
