Ceon Ashram visit by ICYM Madanthyar Report:
Youths of ICYM Madanthyar unit visited Ceon Ashram on 15th August. All the youths along with Fr. Clifford Pinto, Asst. Parish Priest and Sr. Reshma Fernandes UFS, lady animator assembled in the church at 1.30 p.m. and then began journey our towards Ceon Ashram, Gandibagilu at 1.45 p.m.
As we reached there the trustee of the ashram Mr. Paulose and his family welcomed us. Half an hour cultural program was given by us to entertain the inmates of the ashram. Sr. Reshma spoke few lines about Independence Day.
After the cultural program Fr. Clifford Pinto, Sr. Reshma Fernandes, Mr. Jaison Gonsalves President of ICYM and Mr. Arwin Moras handed over a amount of Rs 2,250 and useful items worth Rs. 13,100 which consisted of 2 quintal rice, coconuts, vegetables, fruits, tooth brush, tooth paste, towels etc.
The cultural program was led by Mr. Rohan Lewis. All the youths met the inmates of the Ashram and spoke to them. There were 400 inmates in the house, few inmates prepare craft work in the ashram. 40 youth visited the ashram and brought back lot of happiness.
