Aug 5 : Indian Catholic Youth Movement Madanthyar unit organized "Youth Fusion - 2k22" for the youths of Sacred Heart Church, Madanthyar on Sunday 31st July 2022, at Sacred Heart Church Basement Hall. The program began at 9.30 am with a prayer song led by Joswita and group.

Parish Priest and Director of ICYM Madanthyar Rev Fr Basil Vas followed by Assistant Parish Priest and Assistant Director of ICYM Madanthyar Rev Fr William Dsouza, Vivek Vincent Pais - Coordinator, Leo Rodrigues - Parish Council Vice President, Jerald Moras - Parish Council Secretary, Prakash Dsouza - President ICYM Belthangady Deanery, Anil Pereira - Youth Commission Director, William Sequeira - Animator ICYM Madanthyar, Ajay Rodrigues - President ICYM Madanthyar and Jeethan Carlo - Joint Secretary ICYM Madanthyar were also present on the dais. Rev Fr Rupesh Madtha & Jaison Pereira Shirthady were the resource persons of the programme.

Ajay Rodrigues welcomed the gathering. Office bearers of ICYM Madanthyar gave a floral welcome to the guests. Coordinator Vivek Vincent Pais in his address spoke about how young people should work hard to achieve their goals in life. Director Fr Basil Vas along with the guests inaugurated the programme by coloring the whiteboard with different colors.

Fr Basil Vas in his presidential speech encouraged the youths to have aim in life. Jeethan Carlo proposed the vote of thanks. Ajay Rodrigues handed over the token of love and gratitude to all the guests present on the dais. Roshni Dsouza, Amcho Yuvak Rep ICYM Madanthyar compered the formal function.

Fr Rupesh Madtha took the first session where he conducted various fun activities and group discussion. He spoke about how we should protect our Identity and Relationship with others.

The second session was took by Jaison Pereira Shirthady where he conducted various group activities and games for the youths. Ajay Rodrigues welcomed Alrick D'silva - Joint Secretary ICYM Mangalore Diocese and Melston Noronha - Auditor ICYM Mangalore Diocese.

The youths also celebrated friendship day where they tied friendship bands to each other. Fr William Dsouza spoke about the importance of Friendship in life.

Breakfast and lunch was served. About 200 youths participated in this programme. The programme ended with baila dance.
