ICYM Ujire Unit celebrated Green Day - 2018 at St. Antony Church Premises, Ujire on Sunday, 22nd July 2018. Mr. Prashanth Lobo – President, ICYM Ujire Unit welcomed the gathering. Rev. Fr. James Dsouza – Parish Priest, Mr. Arun Rebello - Vice President and Mr. Valerian Rodrigues - Secretary, Parish Pastoral Council, ICYM Animator Mr. Nithin Monis, ICYM Members and all the parishioners were present for the programme.

Rev. Fr. James Dsouza inaugurated the programme by distributing the saplings to the parishioners and addressed the gathering on the importance of growing more plants and trees meanwhile receiving fresh oxygen from the trees. Ms. Vinitha Carlo – Secretary, ICYM Ujire Unit proposed the Vote of thanks. Soon after the inaugural programme, ICYM Members along with the dignitaries and the parishioners planted saplings at the church road. 35 youth were present for the programme.
