Apr 3 : Indian Catholic Youth Movement Venur unit along with parish pastoral committee and SVPC, Venur distributed essential groceries to the needy people of the village on 1st April 2020 at Christ the King Church, Venur.
When the world is facing this difficult situation of pandemic, there are people who are unable even to get a daily bread for their living. In this troublesome time, the parish pastoral committee and SVPC took initiation to help the needy by distributing essential groceries like rice, daal, pulses, masala etc.
Rev Fr Peter Aranha, parish priest, Denis Sequeira, parish pastoral committee vice-president, Steevan D'cunha, Secretary, Wilson D'souza, SVPC treasurer, Ninet Moras, President - ICYM Venur and ICYM members were present during this occasion.
