Aug 11 : On the occasion of feast St. Joachim and St. Ann, ICYM Ukkinadka unit celebrated Grandparents Day. In preparation for this, the ICYM announced “Aab Ani Mai sangi selfie style" competition for grandchildren with their grandparents. The last date to submit the selfie with appropriate caption along with it was on 25th of July 2023. The results were announced on 06th August 2023 based on creativity, appropriate caption and originality.

The total participants were 33. The first prize was obtained by Riya D’Souza, and second prize was obtained by Lizwin Maria Pinto and Jezel Monteiro. Third prize was obtained by Annshia D’Souza and Anvy Aleta Crasta. The prizes were distributed by the vice president of the parish and secretary. All the participants were given the token of appreciation.

The committee members involved in it were Wilston D'Souza, Ashwitha Monteiro, Amitha Jenisha D'Souza along with the ICYM Director Rev. Fr. Sunil Miranda, ICYM president Juvana Maria D'Souza and ICYM secretary Joysten Rajesh D'Souza.
