Nov 23 : YUVA MILAN 2021 - An event to reconnect and reunite the youth of Kinnigoli Parish was organised on 21st November 2021. The registration commenced exactly at 9 am followed by the inaugural ceremony at 9:30 am. Breakfast was served simultaneously.

They were honoured to have amongst them Monsignor Maxim Noronha - Vicar General of Mangalore Diocese as well as Vicar of Kinnigoli Parish and Director of ICYM Kinnigoli Unit; Rev. Fr. William Dsouza - Assistant Parish Priest of Kinnigoli Parish and Assistant Director of ICYM Kinnigoli Unit and Director of ICYM Kinnigoli Deanery; Rev. Fr. Lancy Saldahna - Principal of St. Mary’s Central School, Kinnigoli; Shobha Jacintha - Assistant Professor, Roshni Nilaya; Shaila Sequira – Vice President of Pastoral Council, Kinnigoli and Carolin Dsouza - President of ICYM Kinnigoli Deanery.

A session to better help today’s youths to cope up with rising psychological concerns by explaining their consequences and suggesting some fair ways to deal with them, was specially organised to guide the youths to make the right choice and to live by the virtues of their life. They were happy to have Ms. Shobha Jacintha to conduct this insightful session.

This was followed by the eucharistic celebration offered by Rev. Fr. William DSouza.

Delicious lunch was served by 2:00 pm filling youth friends with all the energy they needed to give their best for the noon group activities conducted by Mr. Winston and Mr. Prinston from Hospet.

Attractive prizes were distributed to all the participants towards the end of the programme by Msgr Maxim Noronha and Mrs. Shaila Sequeira.

The programme concluded by treating the participants with ice-creams followed by baila, re-energizing the young spirit among the youths. A total of 90 youths were a part of this amazing event.
