May 15 : ICYM Kinnigoli unit organised "IMMACULATE CONCEPTION PREMIER LEAGUE 2023" Cricket tournament for the parishioners on 14th May 2023 at 8:30 am in Kinnigoli Church ground.

Inaugural programme was presided by Director of ICYM Kinnigoli Unit - Rev. Fr. Faustine Lucas Lobo. Asst. Director Fr. Vivek Deepak Pinto, Principal Fr. Lancy Saldanha, Vice-President of Kinnigoli Council - Mr. William D’Souza, The President of ICYM Kinnigoli Deanery - Ms. Marvel Mathias, The President of ICYM Kinnigoli Unit Mr. Nealon D’Souza and Secretary of ICYM Kinnigoli Unit Ms. Dolcy Santhumayor were the dignitaries of the programme.

The programme commenced with a prayer song led by ICYM members. Nealon D’Souza , unit President welcomed the gathering after which Rev.Fr. Faustine Lucas Lobo gave the presidential speech and inaugurated the tournament by playing Cricket . Aloma Patrao compered the inaugural programme.

A valedictory program was conducted towards the end of the tournament which was witnessed by The Director Of ICYM Kinnigoli Unit - Rev. Fr. Faustine Lucas Lobo, Assisted Parish Priest and Assisted Director of ICYM Kinnigoli Unit - Rev. Fr. Vivek Deepak Pinto, Maryvale Convent Superior Sr. Premlata , and Umpires of the tournament Mr. Mahindra and Mr. Deevith to honour the winners with the trophies.

The best bowler of the tournament was bagged by Mr. Criston (Thudam Tigers), The best batsman by Mr. Veon (Bithul Titans) and the Man of series Mr. Johnson (Thudam Tigers). The winning trophy of ICPL 2023 was bagged by Team Thudam Tigers  with a cash prize of Rs. 6000/-while team Bithul Titans bagged up the Runners Trophy with a cash prize of Rs. 4000/-.

ICYM Kinnigoli members congratulate the participating teams and are grateful to all the owners of Bethlehem Stars, Bithul Titans, Thudam Tigers and Blackhawks for their cooperation in the course of this tournament.
