Jan 20 : The Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) Neerude Unit joyously commemorated the annual feast of St. Roque Church in Neerude on January 17, 2024. Preceding the grand celebration, on January 12, ICYM diligently undertook the task of cleaning the church fans, meticulously removing cobwebs and dust to ensure a pristine ambiance for the special occasion. As a testament to their dedication, the unit adorned the church with an array of decorations, transforming it into a radiant space for the confraternity Sunday celebration, including the meticulous preparation of a pickup truck for an uplifting Eucharistic rally.

In the spirit of fostering community joy, ICYM orchestrated a delightful array of activities on January 16 and 17. The festivities included vibrant game stalls, a captivating cola lucky dip, and an engaging 'kombo' draw lucky dip that brought smiles to parishioners of all ages, from children to elders. The culmination of these efforts resulted in a jubilant atmosphere, with participants winning coveted prizes, including two cases of colas and refreshing sprites. The seamless execution of these events made the feast a resounding success, leaving everyone in high spirits and creating cherished memories for the Neerude parish.
