Sep 22 : ICYM Neerude Unit celebrated 72nd Indian Independence Day on 15th August 2018 at St Roque Church Neerude. The day began with the Holy Eucharistic celebration followed by hoisting the tricolour Indian flag. Mr Rajesh Pinto, Defence personnel from Neerude unit was honoured by ICYM members and clicked selfie with him. Later ICYM members distributed sweets to the gathering.

“CLEANINESS FOR HEALTH AND BEAUTY” was the motivating theme for the youth of ICYM Neerude unit towards cleanliness. On the occasion of 72nd Indian Independence day youth celebrated the day by cleaning the bus stand and its surroundings. Many youth had joined hands for this shramdhan programme. After the programme, Youth rejoiced the day by sharing meal cooked by themselves and even the parish priest joined hands with the youth.
