Jan 12 : “Christmas gives us an opportunity to pause and reflect on the important things around us” says David Cameron. Christmas is a time of spreading joy and happiness. In order to enhance the Joy of Christmas ICYM Fajir unit gave a platform to execute their various talents and conducted various competition for the parishioners.

Christmas is a time to spread love, and to celebrate this, the ICYM Fajir unit prepared an Advent wreath and held a prayer session to start the Advent season.

From the first Sunday in Advent to the last, there were competitions divided into different categories.

• Advent Wreath Competition was held on 3rd December 2023. The competition was open to all the parishioners. 

• Christmas Greeting Competition was held on 10th December 2023. The Competition was split up into following Category:

             L.K.G – 4th Std

             5th – 7thStd

             8th – 10thStd

             PUC – 30 Years.

• Lantern Making Competition was held on 17th December 2023. A person might compete at any age; there was no set minimum age.

• Star Making Competition was held on 24th December 2023.   

The parishioners' excitement and spirit of competition did not change even though the events happened all throughout the month. Parishioners took part in the competitions with great enthusiasm. Their innovative concepts, finely crafted handmade items, and diligent efforts contributed to the competition's success.
