ICYM Salethur unit organised “Yuvadees 2018” for the youth of Salethur under the able mentorship of Rev Fr Henry Dsouza SFX on Sunday 29th July 2018 from 9.00 AM to 4.00 PM at Nithyadhar Church Hall. The programme began with the Holy Eucharistic celebration followed by a quick breakfast.

The inaugural programme commenced with a prayer song. Deekshitha Joint Secretary NYM welcomed the gathering. Rev Fr Henry Dsouza SFX Director NYM Salethur Unit, Rev Fr Titus Colaco SFX Assitant Parish Priest, Felix Veigas Vice President Parish Pastoral Council, Nithesh Dsouza NYM Animator, Premraj Dsouza President NYM and Linet Lovely Dsouza Secretary NYM were the guests on the dais. To acknowledge the presence of God in our midst – the lamp was lit by all the guests present on the dais. Linet Lovely Dsouza proposed the Vote of thanks. Rev Fr Titus Colaco SFX impressed the youth on the need of good manners in the modern world.

Noel Permannur Vice President ICYM Mangalore Diocese and Priya Permude conducted games and action songs. Elroy Saldhana Former President ICYM Mangalore Diocese, Manish Badyar Auditor ICYM Mangalore Diocese and ICYM Mogarnad Deanery Representative, Ashwin Ferrao Secretary ICYM Mogarnad Deanery, Ashwin Sequiera Borimar were present for the programme. It was an indeed memorable day and a day to remember. More than 40 youth participated in this programme.
