Sep 13 : On account of Teachers' day, the ICYM unit of St Joseph Church, Borimar organised "Teachers' Day" program on 11th September 2022.

The program commenced after the holy mass at 9:30 in the premises. The program started with a prayer song led by ICYM members. The dignitaries on the dais were Fr. Gregary Pereira Parish Priest, all the teachers of the parish including catechism teachers and Arvin Pinto ICYM President. Fr.Gregary Pereira inaugurated the program. Melita Pais welcomed the gathering.

Mrs. Janet Lasrado expressed her views on the present generation of children, youth and motivated them to achieve higher things in their life.

Mrs. Grace Saldanha addressed the gathering with a brief speech on Dr. RadhaKrishnan and how Mother Theresa was a guiding light to all poor and needy people. 

Fr. Gregary Pereira addressed the gathering about the importance of Teachers' day. As a token of love the parish priest Fr. Gregary Pereira presented a flower and a remembrance gift to all the 26 teachers present.

The ICYM members wished the teachers by singing a wishing song. Arvin Pinto proposed a vote of thanks. The program was hosted by Lester Dcunha.

At the end  breakfast and tea was served to all parishioners.
