July 31 : ICYM Delanthabettu unit celebrated 'Vana Mahotsav' in collaboration with Catholic Sabha, St Vincent Paul Sabha  and Environment commission of the parish on 30th July 2023 in the church premises. Parish priest Rev. Fr. Sunil Praveen Pinto, Fr.Peter Serao - founder of the church , Mrs. Seline Dsouza - vice president of parish pastoral council and Mr. Robert Dsouza - secretary of parish pastoral council and president of SVP ,  Naveen Dsouza - ICYM  Delanthabettu unit president and Rajesh Dsouza - President of Catholic Sabha were present on the dais.

ICYM secretary Sushmitha Dsouza addressed and welcomed the gathering. The programme commenced with a prayer song. Fr. Sunil Praveen Pinto, director of ICYM Delanthabettu unit highlighted the importance of environmental protection and awareness.

As part of the environmental day, saplings were distributed to the catechism students. Later, Janice Dsouza of UKG delivered a speech. At last, dignitaries on the dais planted the saplings.

ICYM secretary  Sushmitha Dsouza hosted the programme and also proposed the vote of thanks.
