The day started with the morning mass on Aug 2, 2015 where Mangalore Diocesan Youth Director of ICYM, Rev. Fr Ronald D'Souza was the main celebrant. Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Rakesh Mathias, Rector - Rev. Fr. Eugene D’ Silva and V. Rev. Fr. John DSouza - Former Vicar Forane of Moodbidri Deanery con-celebrated. Fr. John delivered a meaningful homily during the mass. Youth Director Fr. Ronald, preached the oath of office to the newly elected office bearers of ICYM.
Youth Director Fr. Ronald was felicitated in a short function after the mass. ICYM president Naveen welcomed, Secretary Malita thanked everyone and Edwin DSouza compered the programme.
The Saverapura ICYM unit is named as SSFX (Soldiers of St. Francis Xavier ) and its Office Bearers for the year 2015-16 are:

Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Rakesh Mathias is the Spiritual Director and Mr. Rudolf Crasta is the animator of the Parish ICYM unit. The unit currently has 26 members.
