Sep 25 : ICYM Sampige Unit organized “Manegondu Mara , Shalegondu Vana" , Vanamahotsava programme on Sunday, 6th July, 2019 at Sampige School . The motto of the programme was to save trees and plant more trees.

The programme commenced with a prayer song led by ICYM members. Rayan Moras - President ICYM Sampige Unit welcomed the guests and the gathering. Rev. Fr. Nelson Olivera, Parish Priest of Sampige inaugurated the programme. Ms. Akshatha, HM of Sampige School, Roydon Fernandes President Moodbidri Deanery were present for the programme .

A variety of saplings were planted at different places in the school campus during the programme to make the campus greener and more beautiful. Reshma Misquith spoke about the importance of Vanamahotsava.

Fiona proposed a vote of thanks. Cleeta Fernandes compered the program.
