Oct 14 : ICYM Alangar unit organised "Youth Explosion 2021" , a get together for all the youths of Alangar parish on 10th October , 2021.

The programme began at 9.30 am with blessings of God. Mr. Ivan Pinto - Animator ICYM, Mr. Eric Lobo - Animator YCS Alangar, Mr. Manoj Fernandes - Resource Person from Kirem, Ms. Jesvita Pereira - ICYM Moodbidri Deanery Secretary, Mr. Mithesh Dsouza - President ICYM Alangar, Ms. Alveera Fernandes - Secretary ICYM Alangar were the dignitaries on the dais. Rev. Fr. Walter Dsouza – Director of Alangar Unit , Rev. Fr. Ashwin Cardoza – Director of ICYM Mangalore Diocese, Fr. Prem Prakash Cutinha - Director of ICYM Moodbidri Deanery were also present for the programme. 

Mithesh Dsouza welcomed the gathering, The "Youth Explosion - 2021" was inaugurated in a unique way by unveiling the Pineapple plant. Pineapple plant with Pineapple fruit gives a wonderful message, i.e., it stands inside the crown and also wears a crown implying, "Great things never come from comfort zones". Ivan Pinto addressed the gathering by his  motivating words. Alveera Fernandes proposed a vote of thanks.

Resource person Manoj Fernandes gave realistic motivating examples and highlighted that ICYM is not just a CHANGE, it's a TRANSFORMATION.

Thereafter, the fun games, activities, action songs were conducted by ICYM Moodbidri Deanery Council President Mr. Praful Dsouza & Team. Later it was continued by ICYM Central Executive Council President Mr. Jaison Crasta & Team.

The programme concluded by singing the ICYM Anthem. Ms. Josleyn Dsouza was the Master of Ceremony. Around 80 Youths actively participated in this wonderful event.

The programme ended with a delicious lunch for the gathering.
