ICYM Alangar Unit celebrated Laudato Si Sunday

July 11 : SAVE ENVIRONMENT SAVE EARTH

ICYM Alangar Unit along with Catholic Sabha Alangar and Environment Commission of Alangar Church celebrated Laudato Si Sunday by distributing the plants to the parishioners and later by planting the plants on Sunday, 9th July 2023 after the 1st mass. Parish Priest Rev Fr. Walter D'souza distributed the plants and later spoke about the importance of planting the plants with the quote "Save Environment , Save Earth". Later the youths along with the parishioners planted the plants in the church campus. The program was conducted under the guidance of Parish Priest Rev Fr. Walter D'souza, Mr. Ivan Pinto Animator, ICYM Alangar Unit and President Rayanal Royce Rodrigues , ICYM Alangar Unit. More than 25 youths and the parishioners participated in the program. The program went on very well and was appreciated by many people.
