July 17, 2017: ICYM Neermarga unit organized YUVA MILAN – 2017 on 9th July 2017. The programme commenced with the short prayer service by unit members. The event was inaugurated by planting a plant. Rev. Fr. Anil D’mello presided over the function and his address encouraged the youth to exhibit their talents and make use of the opportunities given to them.
The chief guest of the function Mr. Prakash Pereira, Vice President of Parish Pastoral Parishad encouraged the youth with his motivating words and wished the youth all success while sharing his thoughts. Secretary of Parish Pastoral Parishad was present on the dais along with Br. Stany and ICYM animators Mr. Sunil Pereira & Mr. Sujith Sequeira.
A fun-filled program with games, group discussion, ice-breaking session was conducted by Mr. Joel Concessao, General Secretary ICYM Mangalore Diocese. ICYM Neermarga unit President Mr. Ivan D’souza welcomed the gathering. Secretary Ms. Sapna Gonsalves proposed the vote of thanks and Mr. Rickson Lasrado compered the programme. Around 80 youth of the parish actively participated in the event.
