Oct 31 : On October 29, 2023, at 05:30 PM, the ICYM Vamanjoor unit organized a special Rosary Devotion in front of the church grotto. Many parishioners attended this meaningful event. Parish Priest Rev. Fr. James Dsouza, Asst. Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Ivan Ashwin Dsouza, ICYM animator Mr. Charles Pais, and all the ICYM members were present for the devotion.
The event began with a warm welcome from Rev. Fr. Ivan Ashwin Dsouza. Preethika Dsouza, the President of ICYM Vamanjoor Unit, provided an introduction that explained the primary purpose of this prayer gathering. The main focus of the devotion was to pray for peace between Israel and Palestine.

The devotion continued with the recitation of the Angelus (amori) and the Rosary. The Assistant Priest, accompanied by the ICYM choir sang the litany. A passage from the Gospel was read, followed by a brief sermon by Rev. Fr. James Dsouza. In his sermon, he explained the origin of the Rosary prayer, its significance in the lives of Christians, and how it has persisted over time. The prayer session concluded with a hymn.
At the end of the devotion, Rosaries were distributed to all the parishioners to help them in their own spiritual journey.
