Nov 28 : ICYM Bajjodi, on the occasion of Children's day, organised a unique half-day camp IGNITE 2K23 on 19 November, 2023. The day began with registration at 7:45am followed by inauguration at 8;15am. ICYM members commenced the program by seeking God's blessing through a hymn.

Infant Mary church, Bajjodi Parish Priest and ICYM Director Fr. Dominic Vas, Asst. parish priest Fr. Cyril Menezes, ICYM asst director Deacon Pranam Fernandes, Vice president of Parish council Mr. Prakash Saldanha and secretary Mrs. Elizabeth Pereira, 21 commissions' coordinator Mr. Ronald Goveas, ICYM animators Mr Sachin Menezes and Mrs. Seema Carlo and ICYM City council president Mr. Ashton D'Souza were present for the inauguration. Fr. Dominic Vaz spoke about the importance of the day and how team spirit can create wonders.

Ice breaking session was conducted by Ms. Riyana Pinto. Breakfast was served to all present. Mrs. Florine Lobo and Ms. Pranitha Pinto along with ICYM members engaged the children of 1st to 4th std with crafts and activities. 5th to YCS were divided into 5 groups and all of them actively took part in group activities, games and quiz. Deacon Pranam Fernandes gave a meaningful talk on Time Management. Treasure Hunt was conducted and the winning team was awarded. About 92 children took part in the event and 25 ICYM Members volunteered for the successful outcome of the camp.

The program was compered by Rishel Suvarna. Riyana Pinto welcomed the gathering. Kreethan Dsouza and Neha Mendonca conducted quiz. Annan Dsouza proposed the vote of thanks. Half-day camp concluded with a thanksgiving mass at 11:45am.
