Yuva Spandan Derebail (YSD/ICYM) organized Taizé Prayer on Saturday, 16th February 2019 at the Most Holy Redeemer Church, Derebail at 06:30 PM.

Taizé Prayer service began with Bhajans which were sung in English, Kannada, Konkani and Hindi. Along with Bhajans, Alleluia was sung in Konkani. Holy Scripture was read during the prayer session, followed by hymns and prayers of the faithful. The gathering had an opportunity to offer their personal intentions before the Cross during Taizé prayer. Rev. Fr Gratian Alvares - Associate Director, YSD/ICYM Derebail Unit laid the Cross down for personal adoration and concluded the Taizé Prayer Service.

Enthusiastic Youth of YSD/ICYM Derebail Unit beautifully arranged the altar with diyas. At the centre of the altar, Holy Crucifix was placed. Taizé prayer service was conducted by Mr. Norbert. The melodious choir was led by YSD/ICYM Choir members. The gathering had definitely experienced the Lord amidst them more closely and differently.
